Kreuth, Germany – March 9, 2010 – The 2010 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) European Futurity and Show welcomed ancillary competition today with the $5,000 added Intermediate Open, $3,500 added Intermediate Non Pro and $500 added Limited Non Pro.

In the $ 5,000 added Intermediate Open, top European NRHA and FEI competitor Nina Lill (GER) rode Chickle Me Please to the win with a 219.5 (top photo). Chickle Me Please is a Belgian Futurity Level 4 Open Reserve Champion, Italian Reining Horse Association Level 3 Open Champion and Level 4 Open Reserve Champion.

Jan Boogaerts (BEL) and Blue Quick Command placed second scoring a 215. The stallion by Commander Flit Fritz won the Intermediate Open ancillary class at the 2009 NRHA European Futurity with Boogaerts.

The $3,500 added Intermediate Non Pro was won by Frans Van der Meer (NED) who scored a 213.5 riding his 5-year-old gelding All Are Pleased (middle photo). All Are Pleased (Chic Please x Alaythia) is a full brother to Chickle Me Please. Uwe Gerbig (GER) and RS Bon Ton Jac placed second scoring a 212.5.

Torsten Gartner (GER) and OT Taris Dun It won the $500 added Limited Open with a 218.5 (bottom photo). It was only the second time Gartner showed the 10-year-old palomino stallion. Andrea Manucci (ITA) and Conquistador Dun It tied River In Flood for second place marking a 218.0.

Saturday Finals – Show starts at 8 a.m. Level 3 and Level 4 Non Pro Finals begin at 2 p.m. Level 3 and Level 4 Open Finals begin at 6 p.m. with the Celebration of Champions following. (Opening ceremonies will begin at approximately 5:15 p.m.)

CORRECTION
Oakies Red Berry – In the March 7 news release regarding Oakies Red Berry, the sire of the horse was listed incorrectly. The sire is Country Bay Berry who was an NRHA Derby Level 3 Open Champion and NRHA Futurity Level 3 Open finalist and soon may have an NRHA European Futurity Champion to his credit.
