Oklahoma City, OK – December 1, 2009 – The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship (NAAC) Show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma held four more championship classes today in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – the NAAC Novice Horse Non Pro Level 1 and Level 2, plus the NAAC Novice Horse Open Level 1 and 2. In addition, the show welcomed the 2nd go, 2nd section of the $190,000 added NRHA Open Futurity and 1st go, 3rd section of the $120,000 added NRHA Non Pro Futurity.

NRHA Million Dollar Rider Randy Paul and Rancho Oso Rio LLC’s Tinker With Guns (Gunner x Tinker Nic) lead today’s scores with a 221.5 giving them the third place position in the composite standings thus far with a 445.5. 23 Partnership’s Kaystein (Einstein x Kay Freckles) and Andrea Fappani continue to lead the Level 4 Open Futurity division 2nd go, as well as the composite with a 448.

David Nuernberger’s Wimpys Tonnob (Wimpys Little Step x Powder Playgirl) and Michael Davis marked a 221 to lead scores in the Level 3 Intermediate Open, Level 2 Limited Open and Level 1 Open divisions for the day. The pair sits atop the composite leaders in the Level 1 Open division with a 439.

Smoking Sundown (Gunner x KR Anniegityergun) and Marco Ricotta received a 220 today and now lead the Level 3 Intermediate Open division composite with a 442.5. Day Creek Ranch LLC of Simi Valley, California owns the stallion. In the Level 2 Limited Open division, Janiene Borror’s Hick A Shine and Mike Boyle lead the composite with a 441.5.

The go-round’s third section of the Cinch / NRHA Non Pro Futurity was held this afternoon with finals runs in the Youth Non Pro Division. Dun It In Ruffles (Lil Ruf Peppy x Gotta Git Ya Dun) and Aubrey, Texas’ Emily Winegar slid to a 214.5 to take top honors in the division. Germany’s Joline Nollet and Juiced At The Bar (Smart Like Juice x Blonde At The Bar) placed second with Mexico’s Gerardo Leal, Jr. and Hermosa Hollywood (Shine Big Time x Hermosa Dun It) placing third.

Nuff Gun (Lil Gun x Freckles Frannie) and Gloria Bradley finished the go at the top of the leader board in the Level 4 Non Pro, Level 3 Intermediate Non Pro, Level 2 Limited Non Pro and Level 1 Non Pro divisions. Bill Bradley of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky owns the stallion.

The Prime Time Non Pro division saw a change in the leaders. My Royalty Chex (Vibrant Chex x Royal Silver Solano) and Michael Bulliard had an impressive showing with a score of 219.5 to move ahead of the pack in the go. Roo D Electrick (Jacs Electric Spark x Sheza Tricky Rooster) and Ronald Thompson finished second in the go with a 217.

Four more champions were crowned in the Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show today. Gary Roberts rode two qualifiers to a 1-2 finish in the NAAC Novice Horse Open Level 1. He rode Iceman Dunnit to the championship for owner Michael Yeager of Huntsville, Texas with a 215.5 and marked a 215 on Clay and Mary Lou Dupray’s The Bosses Chex for second place. Both entries qualified through the Southwest Regional Affiliate Finals.

In the NAAC Novice Horse Open Level 2, the Southwest Region’s Gunball Machine and Tom Foran outpaced the class with a 218 to take the win for owner Copus Performance Horses. Please Shine On Me and Brian Welman took reserve honors for owner Richard Ames with a 213.

Von Mega and Jennifer Clark represented the South Central Region well with a 212.5 winning the NAAC Novice Horse Non Pro Level 1. Lindsey Bernbaum and Espressolina placed second for owner Roxie Bernbaum and the Northwest Region.

Southwest Region’s Rebecca Murray took champion and co-reserve champion honors in Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2 aboard Gatolotto (213.5) and Dun It With A Boom (212.5) respectively. Also scoring a 212.5 were Chexable and Jordan Donnelly; and Von Mega and Jennifer Clark. Donnelly and Clark represent the South Central Region.
